That’s right, it’s that time again! I’m not entirely thrilled with my numbers this week, but it is what it is. I know that I’m not going to see a great loss every week. The important thing is that I still saw a loss.
And my clothes are really starting to fit loosely. That is a wonderful feeling! I think part of it is that we’ve been not just doing our steps this week, but we’re up to 20 reps on all our 30-day challenge exercises and we danced three times this week. Maybe we’re building muscle? That’s what I’m hoping at least.
My wedding and engagement rings are spinning on my finger too. Not enough to slide off without a little bit of resistance, but they are getting pretty loose. So my take away this week was:
We did have a lovely cheat day though! We went to Golden Corral for breakfast, and then we went and walked around the Mile High Market, Big Lots, and 2nd & Charles. I managed to find a new food processor that might make my next foray into cauliflower a little easier, and a few new (used) books.
Then we went to Maria Empanada for lunch. Wow! We’d seen this place on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and it was so good. One veggie, and one beef empanada for me, and they were delish. Definitely making another trip there, it was well worth the drive up to Denver.
Dinner was just Papa Johns, but this time, I limited my slices, and I feel a good bit better than the last time we ordered from there.
Now it’s time to do our exercises for the evening and get ready for another early morning tomorrow!
