What a Difference a Year Makes

Some days are just so much better than others. Occasionally, you have one of those days where everything goes wrong, and then there are days where things just seem to be going right. I’m pretty sure it has to do with the mood you are in when you leave the house.

As I finished getting ready for work this morning, I was having such a good hair day that I decided to take a picture. And then I thought maybe I should take a progress picture. After I took the picture, I looked back at some of my others and boy did my mood lift.

So I thought I would share some of my progress! Last September, the mister and I were heading somewhere for a night out and we looked so cute together! So here is what I looked like a year ago at 336 lbs:

About a month later, hubby got a shot of me with a dinosaur mural at the museum, weighing 328lbs:

These are a pretty good indication of where I was last year. What a difference 1 year and 50lbs makes.

This was taken this morning:

And I was a very happy camper! I can’t wait to see where I am in another year. I know that a pound a week may not seem like a whole lot, but that’s 52lbs in a year. It’s several sizes, a ton more energy, and a lot more confidence.

Never underestimate the power of taking things slow and steady. Even a little progress is still progress!
