Last week’s menu did pretty well, though it fell apart completely on Friday and we ended up hitting Wendy’s after a long day, and even longer week. But until then, we stuck to it and tried some new things.
We did try out cloud bread, and while it didn’t taste bad, it certainly didn’t have a bread texture and not much flavor either.
So this week, we’ll be returning to the Ultimate Keto Buns that we so enjoy. We’ll be using those in two meals this week, and I’ll be posting a recipe for our grilled ham and cheese later in the week.
As far as the other nights, Dickie’s still doesn’t disappoint, and the people there are getting to know us quite well. They never fail to strike up a conversation, now that we are “regulars”.
The Slow Cooker Chicken Alfredo was delicious, and I have a feeling it is going to be a winter staple. Without the noodles, it’s like eating a hot, creamy, filling chicken soup. I didn’t get a chance to do a review on it, but I will do my best to put one up the next time we make it.
You can check out my review on the Low-Carb Deconstructed Pizza Casserole from earlier this week to see my thoughts on this crazy easy and delicious dish. It will definitely be making a repeat appearance on our menu!
Despite the bumps in the road, last week was pretty tasty overall. Here’s hoping that this week goes a bit smoother, and we can hit all of our cook-at-home nights.
